After breakfast, you will begin your trekking journey to Namche Bazaar. The trek involves a strenuous uphill climb, but the stunning scenery, fresh mountain air, and the motivation to reach your destination will keep you energized.
Along the way, we will make several stops to take in the breathtaking views. As you approach Monjo, you will pass through the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its rich biodiversity, including endangered flora and fauna. If you're lucky, you may even spot some unique wildlife.
On your route to Namche, you will pass charming Sherpa villages such as Monjo and Jorsale. Namche Bazaar itself is a vibrant town in the Khumbu region, often referred to as the gateway to Everest. Here, you can take advantage of last-minute shopping opportunities with a variety of shops, cafes, and even a cyber café. The town also boasts banks, ATMs, currency exchange services, and lively local markets, making it a convenient stop for trekkers heading into the Everest region.
You will end your day at a local teahouse run by a Sherpa family. After a long day of trekking, enjoy a hot shower and a delicious dinner before settling in for a restful night’s sleep.
Today is your rest day, crucial for your body to adapt to the new environment in Namche Bazaar. With the days ahead involving treks to high altitudes where the air is thin, it’s essential for your body to acclimate now. Your guide will show you around Namche, including a visit to the viewpoint and the Sherpa Museum.
You'll begin by taking in panoramic views of the highest peaks. Then, hike up to the Everest View Hotel, one of the highest hotels in the world. As you ascend, the views become even clearer, offering spectacular vistas of Ama Dablam, Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Thamserku, Khumbila, and Kwangde. After enjoying the breathtaking scenery, you’ll descend back to Namche, staying at the same altitude for acclimatization.
Later, you'll have the chance to explore the Everest Photo Gallery, Museum, and other local attractions in Namche.
You’ll spend the night at a guesthouse in Namche.
Leaving Namche, we’ll follow a trail leading to Tengboche, renowned among trekkers as one of the most scenic routes in the entire Everest Base Camp trek.
Our journey begins with a descent into the Dudh Koshi Valley at Phungi Thanka before we gradually ascend to Tengboche. As you hike, you'll find yourself surrounded by towering peaks, including Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, and Mt. Everest.

Once the sunrise is over, we'll descend along the Imja River and follow a scenic trail to the high-altitude Sherpa village of Dingboche. Our route will take us through Pangboche village and offer continuous views of majestic mountains and picturesque landscapes.
Dingboche, located at 4410 meters, is set in a dramatic location with stunning mountain backdrops. As we approach Dingboche, you'll enjoy impressive views of Everest, Ama Dablam, and Lhotse. The trail to Dingboche is lined with mani walls, prayer flags, prayer wheels, agricultural fields, and settlements of yak herders.
Dingboche, often referred to as "Summer Valley," is a vast pasture where yaks graze. At 4,410 meters, you may start to feel the effects of the high altitude. It’s important to stay hydrated and take it easy. Our trekking guide will check your oxygen levels with an oximeter and monitor your condition to ensure you are fit to continue. If needed, they will provide medication to help prevent altitude sickness. The best approach is to slow down and avoid ascending if you experience symptoms of altitude sickness.
Stay positive and focused on reaching the base camp of the world’s highest mountain, Mt. Everest. Tonight, you’ll stay at a local guesthouse in Dingboche, where you can enjoy a cozy and restful night.
